Carolyn (Carrie) M. Yahn passed away peacefully on April 27, 2018 at home with family at her side. Carrie was born on June 18, 1924 in Monroe, Wisconsin to Leslie and Lydia Hayes. She was married to Charles R. Yahn on September 07, 1946 for 65 years, until his passing on October 6, 2011.

Carrie attended the University of Wisconsin at La Crosse and taught swimming to special needs students for more than twenty years, many who were able to participate in the Special Olympics because of her encouragement and commitment. She was an avid tennis player and golfer and will sorely miss her friends from 2nd Rounders Golf Group and especially her tennis buddies. Carrie will always be remembered for her outgoing personality and generous heart.

Survivors include children, Barb and Kurt; grandchildren, Tiffany, Chaz, Keenan, Ashley, Dylan, Adam, and Chad; great-grandchildren, Ethan, Dajia, Miya, Elia, Lauren and Natalie. Predeceased by husband, Charles, and son, Steven. Sincere thanks to Beloit Regional Hospice.
