Obituary for Carolyn Dugan Carolyn Massey Dugan, age 73, of Overlook Drive in Spruce Pine, died Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Unicoi Memorial Hospital in Erwin, TN. Born on May 23, 1945 in Alexandria, VA, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Margaret Clayton Massey. She also preceded in death by her husband, Edward Dugan.

Also preceding her in death was a brother, Terry Massey and a son, Kenneth Jordan Carolyn enjoyed gardening, working in her flowers and quilting. Left to cherish her memories are her daughters; Lisa Bell and husband, Kent of Newland and Cindy Buchanan of Shelby; her son; Kent Townsend and wife, Vickie of West Jefferson; her brother; Dennis Massy of Alexandria, VA; her sister; Debbie Thomason of Stafford, VA; nine grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
