Carolyn G. Nevison, age 67, Dorset Twp. , died unexpectedly Sunday afternoon at the Cleveland Clinic. She was born March 13, 1951 in Chardon, the daughter of Gerald & Margaret (Wright) Thompson and has resided in this area most of her life.

Carolyn was married to Terry L. Nevison on February 24, 1979 in Mecca. She was a 25-year employee of Kennametal Corp. Carolyn was a member of the former New Lyme Christian Fellowship Church and her interests included gardening, cooking, baking, crocheting and spending time with family.

Survivors include her husband, Terry; six children, Michael Lattimer, Kelly Lattimer & Matt (Karen) Lattimer, Robert (Tammy) Nevison, Dixie (Jerry) Young & Jarod (Lisa) Nevison, 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ronald & David Thompson; three sisters, Judy Jacobsen, Joyce Geren & Pam Aliff and several nieces and nephews. Her parents, a brother, Dale Thompson and a sister, Cathy Czuchra preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:00 PM at the Jefferson Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory, 49 W. Jefferson St., Jefferson, with Pastor Steve Arsulic of Eagleville Bible Church officiating.

Burial will be in Brownville Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. The Fleming & Billman Funeral Homes and staff are privileged to serve the Carolyn Nevison family.
