Carolyn Boulds, 76, resident of Eldorado passed away Monday, January 7, 2019 at Ferrell Hospital. Carolyn was born April 18, 1942 in Eldorado to the late Dan and Edna (Moore) Prather. On April 2, 1964 she married James R. “J.R.” Boulds who preceded her in death September 26, 2013.

J.R. and Carolyn owned and operated J.R. Boulds Trucking for 56 Years. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Eldorado. Carolyn is survived by five children; Kevin (Janie) Boulds of Eldorado, Dennis (Tammy) Boulds of Creal Springs, Brady (Teresa) Boulds of Eldorado, Audree Boulds Harrelson of Eldorado, Brian Boulds of Eldorado, grandchildren; Cristy Jo Boulds, Eldorado, Donald James (Tera) Boulds, Eldorado, Abram Boulds, Eldorado, Austin (Chantel) Boulds, Bout City, KS, Logan (Sara) Boulds, Eldorado, Noah Boulds, Eldorado, Ely Boulds, Eldorado, Sheree Harrelson (Daniel) Townsend, Eldorado, Jacob Harrelson, Eldorado, great grandchildren; Daylen Rogers, Braylen Rogers, Aiden Boulds, Zayne Boulds, Paizlee Townsend, Zaylan Boulds, Adilyn Townsend two special devoted friends and long time employees of J.R. Boulds Trucking; SuAnn Mitchell and Kern Bynum and other friends and relatives too numerous to mention.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a daughter: Denise Boulds, three brothers: P.D. Prather, Paul Prather, Donald Prather, a half sister: Margaret Ann Miley, a grandson: Joel Boulds, a great grandson: Keaton Boulds and a special aunt: Tess Stephenson. Visitation will be 3-7 pm Monday, January 14, 2019 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home followed by a funeral service at 7. Fr.

Steven Beatty will officiate. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated and announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, or in the form of a mass to St. Mary’s Catholic Church or St. Kateri Catholic Church.
