Carolyn S. Morrison, 77, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 8, 2019 surrounded by her family and friends after an extended illness. She was born July 6, 1941 in Wake County where she was a lifelong resident. Carolyn graduated from Needham Broughton High School.

She loved music, her family, friends and her dogs. The family will have a time of Celebration and Remembrance from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service and Crematory, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545. Carolyn is survived by her husband, Rudy Morrison of Zebulon; daughter, Kelly Creech (Michael) of Zebulon; grandchildren: Meredith West (John) of Wendell, Nathaniel Creech (Kelly Dawson) of Wendell; great-granddaughter, Caroline West; sister, Linda Conn of Mebane; special friends: Sandy and Stacy Swiger and Alfreda Talley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, V.C. and Myrtle Huff. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dog Warriors Rescue, c/o Walnut Street Animal Hospital, 702 Cary Towne Blvd, Cary, NC 27511, or you may call (919) 948-6838 to make a donation by phone.
