OBITUARY CAROLYN SUE HAYES January 16, 1946 – September 18, 2018 Carolyn Sue Hayes, peacefully passed away on September 18, 2018. Carolyn was born in Grapeland, TX in January 1946, to Nancy & Calvin Skidmore, both parents preceded her in death. Carolyn is survived by her loving husband, Lynn Hayes, and their beautiful daughter, Laurell Hayes.

Carolyn’s surviving siblings are Wanda Benge, Calvin Skidmore, Jr., and Barbara Tolarski. Gwen Banks Aldridge, a cousin who was like a sister kept a bedside vigil. Carolyn was also preceded in death by two sister, Judy and Margie Nell Skidmore.

Our family will always miss Carolyn and hold her memory in our hearts forever. Carolyn was a proud Texan and a long time resident of Houston, the city she dearly loved. She was a professional hairstylist for 46 years and enjoyed her chosen career and clients.
