Sue Neff, 81, of Terre Haute passed away Saturday December 15, 2018 at 2:35 pm in her residence. She had worked as an insurance agent and a tax preparer. She was born November 3, 1937 in Vigo County to Roy Barks and Helen (Horton) Barks.

Sue is survived by a daughter, Rebecca Barger (Chris) of Germany; sons, Mike Neff (Debi) of Lake St. Louis, MO and Gary Neff of Terre Haute; a brother, Tom Barks of VA; grandchildren, Jayden, Jordan, Kessiah, Rachel, Leisha, Max, and Wolfgang; a cousin, Sandy Garritson and friends, Sharon Ferguson and Kristie Preston. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Guy “Bill” Neff, who died October 10, 2014 and a sister, Virginia Kania. Sue was a member of the Home Economics Club, the Red Hat Society, an active member of her bridge club and the Order of the Eastern Star.

Sue was also a 20 year member of the American Business Women’s Association where she served as President in 1979. She loved to travel and enjoyed doing arts and crafts. She and her husband Bill ran the Braden Castle Park in Florida.

Visitation will be Friday December 21, 2018 from 4:00 until 7:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with funeral services at 7:00 pm in the funeral home. Friar Fred Pasche will be officiating. If friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, in Sue’s memory.
