Obituary for Carroll Jay Anderson Carroll Jay Anderson of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma was born to Charles H. and Ada Laverne (Godwin) Anderson on July 28, 1947 in Hot Springs, Arkansas and passed from this life on June 25, 2018 in Denton, Texas at the age of 70 years. Mr. Anderson grew up and attended school in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. On August 9, 1969 he married Linda Seratte at Trinity Baptist Church in Pauls Valley.

Carroll worked for Dowell Oil Company and the Sohio Elmore City Gas Plant, later as a fork lift operator for Bemis Corporation. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Pauls Valley. The highlights of his life were spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Mr. Anderson is survived by: Wife: Linda of the home Son: Jonathan Anderson of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma Daughter: Laura Smith and her husband Shawn of Krum, Texas 3 Grandchildren: Andy Anderson, Brody Anderson, Grayson Anderson Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by: Parents: Charles and Ada Laverne Anderson Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 28, 2018 in the Paoli Cemetery in Paoli, Oklahoma with Rev. Steve Wilburn officiating. Interment is under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home.
