Obituary for Casto R. Dezzi Casto R. Dezzi, 86 A longtime resident of Drexel Hill formerly of 49th St. in West Philadelphia passed away on January 7, 2019. Mr. Dezzi was born in Philadelphia to the late Salvatore and Domenica Dezzi. Casto was a graduate of Overbrook High School and a member of the 49th St. Black Knights Semi Pro Football Team.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War earning multiple citations and service medals. Mr. Dezzi was a Professional Tailor and the owner of Deever’s of Paoli Men’s Clothing. Casto was a member of the Broomall VFW Post 7390.

He enjoyed his vegetable and rose garden. He was an avid Eagles fan and traveling, especially visiting relatives in Italy. Mr. Dezzi loved family gatherings and was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Rosemarie (Vizzarri) Dezzi; children, Robert (Lynda) Dezzi, Stephen (Carolyn) Dezzi, David (Allison) Dezzi, John (Christina) Dezzi and Richard (Julie) Dezzi; grandchildren, Matthew, Peter, Daniel, Stephen, Keira, Nicole, Julianna, Ava, Kaya, Michael, Amanda, Jonrocco, Gabe and Neeva; great grandson, Theo Kelly. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation: Saturday 8:00 am at the Williams Lombardo Funeral Home 33 W. Baltimore Ave.

Clifton Heights. Funeral Mass: Saturday 10:30 am at St. Charles Borromeo Church 3422 Dennison Ave. Drexel Hill.

Interment: SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital @ donors@stjude.org or St. Lucy School for the Blind @ stl.
