Catherine McGovern, 58, died 25th September 2018 at her son’s home in Jackson, New Jersey after a short illness. Catherine, or better known as Cathy, was born on 29th November, 1959 in Queens, New York to Elizabeth and Thomas McGovern. Her family paid this tribute to her, ‘Cathy was a real down to earth person who loved to talk and one of the kindest people you could ever meet.

She loved spending time with her family and going on vacations and adored her grandchildren. She will be missed in many ways. ’ She is survived by her two sons Ron and TJ and daughter in-laws Jennifer and Kelly, her two siblings Tom and John, her sister in-law Terry, her four grandchildren Matthew, Emily, Kayden, and Kylie, and her four nieces/nephews Kyle, Connor, Casey and Cameron.

Family and friends will be received Friday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the Bronson & Guthlein Funeral Home, Milltown, NJ. The funeral service will be celebrated Saturday 10:30am at the funeral home with burial to follow at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick. www.
