Obituary for Catherine Stine (Richards) Catherine R. Stine, 78, of Port Matilda died Saturday July 28, 2018 at AristaCare Hearthside, State College. She was born July 29, 1939 in Port Matilda, a daughter of Christopher C. and Perolene (LeForte) Richards. On December 7, 1967 in Port Matilda she married Thomas L. Stine.

Surviving are her husband of 51 years, two sons; Lester Stine and wife Donna of Port Matilda, Samuel Conner III and wife Patty of Julian, five grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and a sister Mary Thompson of Julian. She was preceded in death by her parents, her step-father James LeForte, her first husband Samuel Conner Jr., a brother Christopher Richards Jr., and her father and mother-in-law Merrill and Elizabeth Stine. She worked as a Nurse’s Aide at Epworth Manor, Tyrone and at State College Manor for many years.

She loved Penn State football, Pittsburgh Steelers, Nascar racing and her dog Kugo. She enjoyed camping and picnics with her family. Funeral services will be held Tuesday July 31, 2018 at 11 A.M. at Feller Memorial Home with Pastor Sam Reese officiating.

Interment will follow at Port Matilda Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. and on Tuesday from 10 A.M. until the time of services. Order Flowers Catherine R. Stine (Richards) 1939 – 2018 Click above to light a memorial candle.
