Catherine Sherba, 89, of Ambridge, died Saturday, June 16, 2018, in Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver. Born March 4, 1929, in Ellwood City, a daughter of the late Harry and Anna Gerra, she previously worked at the Home Supply Company, Ambridge. She enjoyed doing ceramics, puzzles, and yard work.

She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who cared about her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Sherba, June 4, 2017, and five brothers. Surviving are two sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael and Nancy Sherba, Ambridge and Gary Sherba and Wanda Harvan, and Justin and Jeremy Harvan, and one grandson, Drew Michael Sherba, all of Economy Borough.

Friends will be received Monday from 2 p.m. until time of service at 3:30 p.m. in BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC. , 1099 Maplewood Ave. , Ambridge, with the Very Rev.

Father William Evansky, pastor of Holy Ghost Orthodox Church, officiating. Viewing also on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. A private interment will take place Tuesday in Economy Cemetery.
