Catherine Taylor Brown, 71, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at UH Portage Medical Center. Catherine was born in Ravenna on October 21, 1947 to the late Earl and Hattie Mae (Hicks) Tayloer. Catherine was a 1965 graduate of Ravenna High School and worked as an Assembler for Oak Rubber in Ravenna.

She was also a member of New Mount Calvary Baptist Church. Catherine is survived by her siblings Rick Taylor of Las Vegas, Bernard (Dot) Taylor of Toledo, Victor (Patricia) Taylor of Kent, and stepson Curtis Love. She was preceeded in death by her husband, Mack Brown, in 2005, a daughter, Pumpkin Brown, and siblings Annabelle Reynolds, Ed Taylor, Jerry Taylor, Ronald Taylor, and Donald Taylor.

Calling hours will be held at 11:00am until times of services at Noon on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at New Mount Calvary Church. Condolences and memories of Catherine can be shared with the family at www. sscfuneral homes.com.
