OBITUARY Cayle John Standridge April 20, 1983 – September 22, 2018 Cayle John Standridge, 35 of Altoona departed this life on September 22, 2018. Funeral Service will be held at Morgan Funeral Chapel on Monday, September 25, 2018, at 3pm. The family will receive friends from noon until 3p.m. prior to the service.

Burial will be at Faith Church Cemetery in Walnut Grove. He collected Hot Wheels and loved to cook. “I Love Lucy” was his favorite television show, and Christmas was his favorite holiday.

He attended New Welcome Baptist Church and worked at Color Masters in Albertville with a group of people he loved to be around. He loved to help people and was not a stranger to anyone. Most of all, he loved his family and spending time with them.

Cayle is preceded in death by his grandparents, Gurtis and Willie Bell Standridge; uncle, William Nathan “Skip” Morgan; uncle, Charles Thomas “Chuck” Morgan; uncle, Bobby Gurtis Standridge; uncle, Jimmy Don Standridge; and uncle, Billy Ray Standridge. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his father, Jerry John Standridge; mother, Nathany Igene Standridge; sister, Crystal Crow (husband, Tim); brother, Jerry John Standridge II (wife, Amanda); step brother, Sam Lewis Standridge; grandparents, Jean Payne and John and Rose Crow; special aunts, Stacy Harris, Sabrina Fells, Sue Standridge, and Mary Standridge; special cousins, Belinda Harris, Matt Harris, Jaimie Burroughs, Sonya Thomas; Nieces, Elizabeth Standridge, Audrey Spurling, and Bayli Crow; and nephews, Mitch Crow, Scott Crow, Luke Standridge, John Standridge; and many loving family members, as well as a host of amazing friends. Pallbearers will be Jerry John Standridge II, Tim Crow, Scott Crow, Matt Harris, Jared Clem, Andrew Fells, Philip Standridge, and Michael Spurling.

Honorary pallbearer, Mitch Crow. The family will be accepting flowers or memorials may be made to the family for funeral expenses. Special thanks to Gadsden Regional 8th floor and SICU staff for their compassionate care.

Cayle loved people and was always eager to help someone in need, it was this giving spirit that led him to make the decision to be an organ donor- and now Cayle will live on through the lives of those he helped to save.
