Charlene Figgins August 8, 1949 – March 20, 2019 Funeral services for Charlene Figgins will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Bowers Funeral Home in Teague. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 22, 2019, with the family present, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ms. Figgins passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 in Groesbeck after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s. She is survived by three children, Dewayne Casteel & Amber Hebert of Youngsville, LA, Hope Casteel Brewer & husband Ronnie Brewer, II of Fairfield, and Robert Casteel & wife Jennifer of Springtown; eight grandchildren, Kelsey Casteel, Kameryn Casteel, Ronnie (Trey) Brewer, Kaytlyn Brewer, Emilee Brewer, Kaylie Casteel, Robert John Casteel, Caden Casteel; her mother, Merle Cobbs of Teague; two sisters, Cathy Cobbs, and Barbara Cobbs, both of Teague; and nephew, T. J. Taylor of Teague. Ms. Figgins was preceded in death by her husband, John Ralph Figgins; and her father, Robert Cobbs.
