Charles “Bubba” Earl Jackson, 89, died peacefully on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Raleigh, NC, he was the son of the late Robert and Clara (Person) Jackson. He was a piece worker at Aditus for many years and enjoyed his days of retirement at Seniority Social in Springfield.

He enjoyed Bingo, shopping for knick knacks, coffee at Dunkin Donuts and fishing and vacations on Cape Cod. Above all, Bubba loved his family and spending time with his dear friends at the May Institute. He was predeceased his siblings; James, Anna and Maxine Jackson, Gladys Smith, Ella Louise Gardner and Christine Merchison.

He is survived by several loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Stacey and Marcia and the May Institute for their dedication and caring support over the years. Bubba’s Graveside Service will be held on Friday at 11 am in Oak Grove Cemetery.
