Obituary for Charles D. “Charlie” Williams Charles Williams, 88, of Haines City passed away Friday, November 9, 2018 due to illness. He was born June 22, 1930 in Blakely, Georgia. Charles served with the US Army in Korea and worked for 30 years as parts manager for Ridge Chevrolet.

After retirement, he went into Real Estate Investing. He was an active member of the First United Church. Charles enjoyed fishing, hunting, wood working and antique cars.

He is predeceased by his wife Faye, brother Edward and sister Doris. He is survived by sister Vaudine Pressley of Lakeland, FL and a number of nieces. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at 1 p.m. followed by services at 2 p.m. all at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Children’s Home Society of Florida, Lakeland, FL. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City, FL. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Charles D. “Charlie” Williams please visit our Sympathy Store.
