Charles E. Jackson, 65, of South Bend, IN passed away on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at Franciscan Health in Lafayette, IN. Charles E. “Chuck” Jackson was born on February 24, 1953 to Eddie Mae Jackson in South Bend, IN. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

Charles was a gentle man who loved his family and his friends. He would go above and beyond to help anyone out. He loved to sing and would often bust out into a Barry White or Smokey Robinson song mid-conversation.

Charles is survived by his mother, Eddie Mae Jackson of South Bend; a son, Anthony (Andrea) Jackson of South Bend; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two aunts. Along with his grandmother, Charles was preceded in death by three uncles and one aunt. Funeral services for Charles Jackson will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Palmer Funeral Home – West Chapel, 2702 Lincolnway West, South Bend, IN 46628.
