Obituary for Charles Joel Anderson Charles Joel Anderson 5/18/1932 – 9/6/2018 Charles was a native Floridian born in Edgewater, Fl in Volusia County. He moved to Fort Pierce with his family in the mid 40’s where he met his sweetheart of 70 years Mary Peterson. Together they have 7 children and 55 grandchildren.

Yes, I said 55 grandchildren! Charles was a Florida National Guardsman for 6 years and a lifelong commercial fisherman. During the 1970’s, Charles worked as a Master Welder and Instructor for Piper Aircraft.

He leaves behind his widow Mary, Ft Pierce, Daughter Barbara Schneider (Greg), Cape Coral. Sons Mark and Michael Anderson both of Ft. Pierce along with too many grandchildren to mention.

Surely, St. Peter and his Salty Angels met him at the Pearly Gates!
