Obituary Charles L. Swope, age 94, formerly of Biglerville, passed away Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Transitions Health Care. He was born Friday, November 28, 1924 in Aspers, the son of the late Ivan G. and Iva P. (Melhorn) Swope. Charlie was formerly employed by Inland Container for 49 years.

He was a member of Zion United Church of Christ in Arendtsville. He was a life member of the National Apple Museum in Biglerville. Charlie was an excellent woodworker.
