Mr. Charles Mark Carter, age 58 of Georgetown, KY, formerly of Franklin, KY, passed away Thursday, May 31, 2018 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY. Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home in Franklin, KY. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM EST.

Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at the Tucker-Yocum-Wilson Funeral Home in Georgetown, KY with burial to follow in the Georgetown Cemetery in Georgetown, KY. Mark was born October 26, 1959 in Simpson Co., KY to the late Jake Carter and the late Mary Frances Shepard Carter. He was preceded in death by his wife Lynda Caines Carter and two daughters Robyn Daniels and Lori Mills.

He is survived by his daughter Lisa Hubbard of Georgetown, KY; his brother Mike Carter of Franklin, KY; two nephews Michael Carter of Columbus, IN and Matthew Carter of Franklin, KY; two great nephews Jackson Carter, Jake Carter and a great niece Jocelyn Carter; six grandchildren Shelby Barnes, Abby Collins, Lucas Collins, Lauren Hubbard, Wyatt Mills and Maddie Mills. Mark was a member of the Providence Baptist Church and an employee of Toyota for 30 years. He loved to play golf, tractor pulls, traveling, good food and coming home to farm with family.

Visitation will begin Sunday, June 3, 2018 from 12:00 PM Noon until 8:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home Franklin, KY. There will be visitation Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 5:00 PM EST. until 8:00 PM at Tucker-Yocum-Wilson Funeral Home in Georgetown, KY Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Simpson County Relay for Life.
