Obituary for Charles “Charlie” MacLennan Dateline – Kennebunk Charles ‘Charlie’ Patrick MacLennan, 36 years, of Kennebunk died unexpectedly July 7, 2018 in Manchester, NH. Charlie was born June 23, 1982 in Gloucester, MA, a son of Philip and Mary (McLaughlin). He graduated from Kennebunk High School in 2001 and furthered his education at Universal Technical Institute in Houston, Texas.

He worked for Pike Industries and most recently at Continental Paving. He was active with YPR (Young People in Recovery) and enjoyed spending time with his friends and helping people in the program. Charlie enjoyed spending time at Wells Beach, especially with his daughter, Henley.

Henley was the light of his life, his little ‘Peanut”, and his beautiful little angel. Charlie also loved his ‘fur baby’, Nessa, who predeceased him. Charlie is dearly missed by his parents, Phil and Mary of Kennebunk; his daughter, Henley; and her mother Ashton MacLeod; his sister, Bridget Carney, her husband, John, and niece Elizabeth of Colchester, VT; his aunt and uncle, Diane and Barry MacEachern, of Malden, MA; his uncle, Joseph McLaughlin, of Topsfield, MA; and his cousins, Valerie and Scott Costa, of Stoneham, MA; Victoria Lang and Samantha Bevilacqua of Gloucester, MA; and numerous other family and friends.

Friends and family may visit on Friday, July 13, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., followed by a Memorial Service at 4:30 p.m. at Bibber Memorial Chapel, 111 Chapel Road, Wells. Rev. Father Fred Morse from Holy Spirit Parish officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to an account which has been set up in Henley MacLennan’s name at Biddeford Savings Bank, 65 Portland Rd, Kennebunk, ME 04043.
