Mr. Randy Spears, age 53, of Franklin, KY, passed away July 1, 2018 at 11:38 AM at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 3, 2018 with burial to follow in Sadler Cemetery in Sumner County, TN. Mr. Spears was born September 21, 1964 in Nashville, TN to Charlie Dean Spears and Sherry Sue Harris Spears, who survives of Franklin, KY.

His Paternal grandparents, Tandy and Lucille Spears, and Maternal grandparents, Willie Lee Harris and Marie Harris McMahon preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Carol Alice Spears of Franklin, KY, 3 children, son Charles Eugene Spears and his wife Lisa of Hartsville, TN, daughter Carolyn Price of Lee, IN, son Tom Price and his wife Faith of Indianapolis, IN, 1 sister, Sandy Culver and her husband Ron of Elmwood,TN, nephew Ronnie Culver, niece Krystal Culver, 8 grandchildren, Steven Tarry, Heather McDowell, Chelsea Lam, Matthew Price, Sammie Price, Zach Spears, Dakota Spears, and Peyton Spears, and 3 great grandchildren. Mr. Spears was self-employed at Randy Spears Construction as a contractor/builder.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Monday, July 2, 2018 and from 6:00 AM until time of service on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at www. gilbertfhonline.com.
