Carol Jean (Kessler) Fleischer, born September 22, 1942 in Columbia City, Indiana, left her frail earthly body on September 29, 2018, to be in His glorious presence. She was truly at peace and ready to see her heavenly home, secure in her salvation and the love of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. A wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, Carol left behind a legacy of Christian faith that will continue for generations through her family and friends.

Carol is survived… Read More » by her husband of 56 years, James Fleischer; her children, Dawn (Fleischer) Somody and Tamara (Fleischer) Caliendo; grandchildren, Nicholas Caliendo, Maggie Somody, and Jake Somody; her brother, Ben Kessler; and sister, Kerri (Kessler) Lovitt; and their beautiful families. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 from 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Browning Funeral Home, 738 E. Diamond Ave. , Evansville, IN 47711.

A Christian service of faith will follow at 7:00 PM. A private burial will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would like for you to hug your loved ones a little bit tighter and find the good in every day.
