Audrey F. (Brack) Schiff, 90, Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Solarbron Senior Living Facility, surrounded by her loving family. Audrey was born in Evansville, Indiana on April 1, 1928 to the late Leah (Altheide) Brack and Cyril John Brack. She was a graduate of Central High School.

A dedicated wife, she supported her husband, Gilbert Schiff, during his political career in our city. She was a devoted homemaker, raising eight strong, independent children. Active in the community, Audrey was a past board member of the Vanderburgh County Democratic Women’s Organization.
She was past president and an active member of the River City Civitan Club and served as treasurer for the Fraternal Order of Eagles # 427. Audrey loved attending the Philharmonic and plays throughout our city. She enjoyed dancing at Central Turner’s, playing bridge with friends and gardening.
Her energy was amazing as she was still able to dote on her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and of course, her darling dog Foxy. Audrey is survived by her daughters, Sally Carr (Mike), Jean O’Daniel Keith (Jack), Monica Lindenschmidt (Joe), Sonya Kasnick (Fiance’, Jeff Wiseman), Mary Fields Abney (Barry), all of Evansville, IN, and Sara Bawel (Brad) of Jasper, IN; sons, John Schiff (Jan) of Indianapolis, IN, Mark Schiff (Kris); sister, Gail Titzer (Danny) both of Evansville, IN; 22 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Audrey was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gilbert Schiff in 1991; her brother, Donald Brack; and her grandsons, Corey and Kourtney Fields.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, October 1, 2018, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1303 S. Green River Rd. , Evansville, IN 47715 with Father Bernie Etienne celebrating and burial to follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Friends may visit from 11:00 AM until 6:00 PM on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave.
, where a sharing of memories will be held at 5:00 PM. Visitation will also be held from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM at Holy Rosary Catholic Church on Monday.
