Philip Estevan “PJ” Diaz, 18, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Monday, September 24, 2018 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital. PJ was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on August 4, 2000 to Luis Philip and Susan (Mitschelen) Diaz. He was a Senior at Harwood Career Preparatory High School.

PJ is survived by his mother, Susan (Mitschelen) Diaz of Evansville, IN; sisters, Angel Elizabeth Diaz of Evansville, IN and Faith Anqelique Diaz of Evansville, IN; brothers, Joe Diaz (Simona) of Edinburg, TX and Luis Philip Diaz II of TX; grandparents, Edwin and Arlene Mitschelen of Bryan, OH; nephew, Jordan Luis Diaz; and by many aunts, uncles and cousins. PJ was preceded in death by his father, Luis Philip Diaz; and by his grandparents, Felipe and Angelica Gonzalez Diaz. A celebration of PJ’s life will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave.

, Evansville, IN 47711 with Pastor Ray Austin officiating. Friends may visit from 12:00 Noon until service time on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Browning Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with final expenses.
