Charles Raymond Smith Funeral services for Charles Raymond Smith, 38, of West Columbia, SC. will be held at Barr-Price Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, on Saturday, March 16 2019 at 2 pm. Visitation will follow the service.

Charles passed away Saturday, March 9, 2019 in his home. He was born in Orangeburg, SC on January 14, 1981. Charles was the biggest kid in the room.

He lit up every room he entered. He was the person that never wanted to see anyone upset, so he would make stupid comments or do something silly to make you laugh. He was the most caring and always willing to listen.

Mr. Smith worked for Jaybird Whitaker with Whitaker Electric for almost four years. He was married to the love of his life, Sheri, for almost sixteen years. He is survived by his wife, Sheri H. Smith and their four daughters; Allie Snelgrove (Brandon), Mollie Smith (Tyler), Alexis and Rayanne Smith; sisters and brothers; Carlee (Zack), Carlton, Tosha (Chip), Shantell (Lance), Eric and Josh; Granddaughter; Kinsleigh Snelgrove; his parents; Carl Smith and Cindy Miller; Grandparent, Cecelia McCollum.

He was predeceased by his granddaughter Madalynn Grace, Sue-Sue, his grandmother, Hiram Courtney, his grandfather and Clint Courtney, his uncle. Sheri Smith would like to thank Melissa Grady and Michael Walling for bringing she and Charles together. Because without them they would not have been able to spend the last 16 years together.
