Marcella Elaine Elliott West Columbia – Funeral Services for Marcella E. Elliott, 73, will be held 12:00 noon Friday, March 15, 2019 at Laurel Baptist Church in West Columbia. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Church at White Knoll; 117 Maple Shade Lane, Lexington, SC 29073. Ms. Elliott passed away Monday March 11, 2019. Born in Camden, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Lucile Watts Munn.

She was an avid reader and writer. She enjoyed traveling, especially making spontaneous trips when she felt like she wanted to go somewhere. Ms. Elliott was truly a comical, beautiful, selfless and wonderful woman.

She always put other people’s needs in front of her own. She spent an unlimited amount of time raising her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Everybody also really ‘loved’ her cooking.

She is survived by her daughters, Rita Price (Mike), Carla Ketten (Chris), and Kelly Cook (Larry); grandchildren, Michael Sims (Chrissy), Scott Sims (Amanda), Christopher Sims (Britney), Ashley Reed (Tyren), Kimberly Price, Dusty Price, Tyler Ketten, Kristin Hooker (Joe Dan), Devon Wise, Haley D. Wise, Amber Cook, and Caitlin Cook; great-grandchildren, Keirra, Ethan, Jacob, Skyler, Aden, Liam, Caleb, Clayton, Serenity, Mason, Tripp, Marina, and Jaxton. She was pre-deceased by 2 daughters, Cynthia Elliott and Theresa Sims.
