Obituary for Charles Richard “Beau” Adams Mr. Charles Richard “Beau” Adams, 72, of Longs, SC passed away Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Ralph H. Johnson Veterans Administration Medical Center in Charleston. He was born September 20, 1945 in Lancaster, a son of the late Paul Adams and Hazel Burch Adams. Beau was a man of faith.

He was a loving husband and father. He had been a lifeguard at the beach while in college and loved to travel. A US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, Beau received two Purple Hearts and two Bronze Stars and was a member of the Purple Heart Club.

He was a lifetime sales associate and owner of Beau Adams and Associates. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Adams will be held Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 11:00 am at Lancaster Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry Hinson officiating.

Burial with Military Honors will be in the Lancaster Memorial Park. Mr. Adams is survived by his wife, Lucy Bruno-Adams; two daughters, Sandra Auten and her husband Keith of Rock Hill and Tiffany Gibson and her husband Matt of Fort Mill; and three grandchildren, Brandilynn Stairs, Richard Stairs, and Lucy Gibson. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Lancaster Funeral Home.
