Mr. Charles Robert Rodgers Augusta- Mr. Charles Robert Rodgers, 69, entered into rest Thursday, June 07, 2018 at Augusta University Medical Center. He was the son of the late Mr. Ernest A. Rodgers and Mrs. Evelyn Louise Upchurch Rodgers. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Monday, June 11, 2018 in Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev.

David Lambert officiating. Mr. Rodgers was a native of Wilkes County, Georgia, but had lived in Augusta for some time. He was retired from the United States Postal Service as a postman.

He was an Army Veteran and a member of First Baptist Church of Thomson. Mr. Rodgers is survived by three brothers, Ernest Ralph Rodgers, of McRae, Georgia, John Edward Rodgers, Harlem, Georgia, and George J. Rodgers, Wrens, Georgia. Friends may call at the Curtis Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends on Monday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Curtis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
