Charles “Chuck” Wade, 56, of Annawan passed away February 2, 2019 at Rosewood Care Center in Moline. A memorial service will be 6pm Tuesday at Schroder Mortuary in Colona with visiting hours from 5pm – 6pm. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Chuck Wade memorial fund at Farmers National Bank, Geneseo.

Charles was born September 12, 1962 in Peoria, IL the son of Clarence H. and Sherrie K. Harms Wade. He married and later divorced Brenda Simmons. Charles was a truck driver for River Valley Cooperative in Annawan and enjoyed motorcycles, music, aquariums, cooking and indoor plants.

Chuck was the former Commander of the Sons of the American Legion in Colona, a founding father of the Peo-Taz ABATE chapter, as well as an NRA member. Survivors include his mother Sherrie Wade; daughters Ashley Mielke and Holly Wade Gale; stepson, Nick Simmons; grandchildren Gabrielle, Hunter, Matthew, and Roy; brothers Gary, Robert, and Daniel (Charlene) Wade; and several nieces and nephews. Charles was preceded by his father and a niece Lacey Wade.
