Charles’ Obituary Charles William Hurt, Sr., 62, of Frederick, passed on Sunday, January 27, 2019. He was born on February 9, 1956 in Frederick, MD to the late Benjamin Franklin Hurt and Mildred Marie Hurt-Welty (nee Baugher). Charles was a Tile worker for over 20 years and a concrete finisher for over 15 years.

He loved maintaining his tractors and motorcycles. As well as a love of fishing and western films. He is survived by his son; Charles William Hurt, Jr., and siblings; Barbara Ann Liller, granddaughter; Nadia Rose Hurt, and numerous extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by siblings; Robert J. Hurt, Sr., Louis Hurt, Benjamin L. Hurt, and David E. Hurt. A graveside service will take place at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, Jefferson, MD on Friday, February 1, 2019 at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the funeral home to defer funeral expenses.
