Jeffrey Alan McGee, age 53, of Taneytown, died Monday, December 31, 2018 at his home. Born April 22, 1965 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Walter Nelson McGee and Barbara Ann Walker McGee. Jeff was a member of the Frederick Christian Fellowship.

He was employed as a construction worker, and was an avid fan of the Washington Redskins, Washington Capitals and Baltimore Orioles. He also loved dogs. A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Hartzler Funeral Home, 310 Church St., New Windsor. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 11 a.m. until service time. Private interment will be held later.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Frederick Rescue Mission at therescuemission.org.
