Charlotte Ruth Harrell Hargrove, age 83 of Cornersville, died Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at her residence. Mrs. Hargrove was a native of Giles County, Tennessee born December 4, 1934 daughter of Gladys and Charlotte Metcalf Edde. She was retired from the Marshall County Board of Education where she had been the manager of MCHS cafeteria.

She was a member of Church St. Church of Christ. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three sisters; Martha Strickland, Irene Matthews, and Mary Hollingsworth and three brothers; Mutt Edde, J.D. Edde, & Roy Edde. She is survived by her husband; Toney Hargrove of Cornersville, two sons; Gary Crosslin and Randy “Ellen” Crosslin, and daughter; Connie Shrum all of Lewisburg, one step son; Troy Hargrove, and two step daughters; Angie “Tony” Cross of Lewisburg, Amy “Rich” Bucco of Alabama, two brothers; Willliam Edde of Pulaski, and Robert Edde of Admore, Alabama, eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 11:00 am from the chapel of London Funeral Home with burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery. The family will be at London Funeral Home Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. for visitation. London Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
