Chase’s Obituary Mr. Chase Alexander Carroll, age 17, of Jesup, died on Sunday, January 20, 2019 in Tennille. Funeral services for Mr. Carroll will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 24 in Sisters Baptist Church in Sandersville with burial in White Oak Church Cemetery. Reverend Tony Whitley and Reverend Mike Dorough will officiate.

Pallbearers will be the Cross Country Team of Wayne County High School. Mr. Carroll was a native of Bibb County. He was an 11th grade student at Wayne County High School and a member of the Cross Country Team.

He was a member of Tennille Baptist Church. Survivors are his mother: Karen L. Welch of Jesup, his step father, Brian Welch of Jesup, a brother, Graham Welch of Jesup, grandmothers, Annie Laura Carroll of Ormand Beach, FL, and Sandy McFarren of New York, grandparents, Richard and Ann Welch of Sandersville and several aunts, uncles and cousins. The family suggest donations be made to Tennille Baptist Church, P. O. Box 402, Tennille, Georgia 31089.

The family will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday. May and Smith Funeral Directors in Sandersville is in charge of the arrangements. www.
