Cherie Darlene “Peaches”‘s Obituary Cherie Darlene Whitmore “Peaches”, 57, of Hagerstown, passed away, Wednesday, February 27, 2019, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born June 6, 1961 in Hagerstown she was the daughter of the late, Harold A. “Pete” and Peggy Mae (Spoonire) Whitmore. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by a sister, Esther M. Whitmore; a sister in law, Debbie Whitmore and a brother in law, Robert Snowden.

Peaches attended Robinwood Church of God; Truth for Youth School and the Washington County Human Developement Council where she had several friends in room 7. She enjoyed WWE Monday Night Raw; shopping especially at flea markets and going to school at WCHD. She is survived by her step mother, Mary L. Whitmore of Hagerstown; four sisters, Cathy Scott (Roy) of Sharpsburg, Paula Stotler (Gary), Peggy Snowden and Robin Whitmore, all of Hagerstown; five brothers, Harold Whitmore (Ellen) of Hanover, Pa.

, Curtiss “Dewey” Whitmore (Shelly) of Falling Waters, W.Va. , Eddie Whitmore of Marlowe, W.Va. , Bill Whitmore (Lisa) of Williamsport and Jess Whitmore (Lacy) of Falling Waters; special family, Jason Stotler (Stacy), Ty and Cole, Jenny Stotler (Amanda), Ryder and Remi, Jami Giannaris (Dean), Ellianna and Grace Weaver.

A memorial service will be conducted on Monday, March 4, 2019 at 6:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave. , Hagerstown with Pastor Clark Viar officiating. A reception will follow at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made in “Peaches” name to the WCHD Council, 433 Brewer Ave. , Hagerstown, MD 21740.
