Cherie L. Hibbs, 59, of Roscoe, passed away Sunday, October 21, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was born on September 27, 1959 in Beloit, Wisconsin to Richard and Marion (Brown) Bjork. Cherie graduated from Rockford East High School in 1977.

On June 22, 1991 she married Curtiss Hibbs. Cherie worked for the United States Postal Service for 30 years and worked at the Kilburn and Loves Park Stations as a window clerk. She had a passion for creating flower arrangements, baking and entertaining.

Cherie enjoyed spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband, Curtiss Hibbs; son, Corey (Krysten) Hibbs; grandson, Gilligan Hibbs; sisters, Paula (Brad) Otten, Denise Kohn, Kim (Chet) Sturdevant; Nanny Kay, Kay Johnson; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents and brother, Randy Bjork.

Special thank you to Dr. Khan and the staff at OSF 100 South, Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Transitions Hospice. A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Honquest Family Funeral Homes with Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Rd.
