Mary Frances Wilson, 82, of Rockford passed away Sunday, October 14, 2018. Born May 17, 1936 in Princeton to Francis A. and Irene (Donovan) Fahs. Married Bobby D. Wilson on September 20, 1958 in Lee County.

Employed as a waitress at various restaurants in the Rockford area. Mary enjoyed knitting, crocheting and in her younger years she was actively involved in the Special Olympics. Survivors include husband, Bobby D. Wilson of Rockford; sons, Robert Wilson of Rockford, Richard (Denise) Wilson of Oregon, WI; grandchildren, Samantha Wilson of Oregon, WI, Anthony Wilson of Oregon, WI; sister, Alice Fahs of Dixon; and several nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by parents; step-father, Sylvester Haefner; and brother, Thomas Fahs. Special thank you to River Bluff Nursing Home and to the staff of the Dove Wing for all their kind and compassionate care. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 18, 2018 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory – Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Road, Loves Park, with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.

Private burial in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association or to the Special Olympics.
