Cheryl Lynn (Sleeseman) Zervan of Burt, died Saturday, December 29, 2018 at her residence. She was 57 years of age. Cheryl was born May 17, 1961 in Saginaw to James Sr. and Linda (Godfrey) Sleeseman.

She was a resident of East Lansing for many years moving to Burt 10 years ago. Cheryl married Steve Zervan on May 1, 2010 in Henderson, MI. Mrs. Zervan was employed at the E. Lansing Post Office retiring in 2017 with 34 years seniority.

She enjoyed volunteering for Muscular Dystrophy, hanging out with Steve and serving as the secretary of the postal union. Surviving are: her fur baby Rocky; husband, Steve; daughter, Tina (Chris) Bolin of Burt; grandchildren, Hunter and Natalie; mother Linda Sleeseman of Chesaning; brother James Sleeseman Jr. of Chesaning; sister, Shelly (Tom) Kuchar of Oakley; niece and nephews: James III (Alishia) Sleeseman of Midland, Stacie (Jason) Chaney of FL, Paul Sleeseman of Oakley. Her father, James Sleeseman Sr., preceded her in death in April 25, 2011.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 4, 2019 at the Misiuk Funeral Home in Chesaning. Burial to follow in Pinegrove Cemetery, Albee Township. Visitation will be on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. and on Friday from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. Memorial contributions may be given to the family.
