Cheryl N. Williams (nee Riblon) Cheryl (Cheri) Williams, age 70, passed away on December 11, 2018 at Lakewood Nursing & Rehab Center in Plainfield, IL after a short struggle with lung cancer. Cheryl was born in Joliet, IL on May 14, 1948 to the late Edward L. and Dorothy L. (Scheefelt) Riblon. Former animal care specialist, security officer and SWAT team leader at Argonne National Laboratory, and proud security guard at Hollywood Casino (formerly Empress Casino) in Joliet until her retirement in 2013.

Preceded in death by her loving husband, the late Edward L. Williams, and survived by her sister, Patricia (Steven) Dagdigian, brother Edward (Catherine) Riblon, cousin Emery (Nancy) Subar, and nephew Matthew (Sarah) Riblon. Services for Cheryl will be held on Friday, December 14, 2018 from 3 pm to 7 pm at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home in Joliet, IL with a prayer service to be held at 6pm. She will be laid to rest with her husband at a later date at Abraham Lincoln Cemetery.
