Chester A. Kulikowski, 79 of Wolverine passed away on May 17, 2018 at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey. Chet was born on July 10, 1938 in Wyandotte, MI, the son of Anthony Kulikowski and Eleanor (Rydelek) Kulikowski. He grew up in Wyandotte and attended elementary school at St. Stanislaus Kostka and high school at Mt.

Carmel High School. On August 29, 1959, he married Eva Marie Jennings at St. Matthews Church in Zilwaukee, MI. Chet was a true outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, and hunting both animals and morel mushrooms.

He was a master builder and he loved to cook. Chet loved visiting with family and friends, he especially enjoyed children. He was a strong man and a devoted father, full of perseverance.

Chet was also an instigator of mischief as much as he was a helping hand in the community. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Chet is survived by his children Chester (Cindy) Kulikowski Jr., Cindy Eaton, and Andrew (Michelle) Kulikowski, grandchildren Aimee (Jay) McQuiston, Steven Anthony Kulikowski, Kelli (Casey) Blue, Sarah Ann Roberts, Andrew Kulikowski Jr., Shaun O’Rourke, and Colin O’Rourke, seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife Eva Marie Kulikowski, late companion Mattie Nichols, daughter Karen Kulikowski, his parents, and his siblings. There are currently no services scheduled for Chet. In lieu of flowers, anyone wishing to make a memorial contribution in memory of Chet should consider the Karmanos Cancer Institute in Petoskey, MI.
