Obituary for Christina M Shepard Christina M. Shepard, age 47, passed away Sunday, November 11. Born January 12, 1971 in Columbus, Ohio. Christina worked as an LPN in a doctor’s office for a number of years before she worked part time as a school bus driver.

She loved seeing the kids every day; her illness forced her to quit her job, but she held on to a rosary for over a decade that one of the sweet students gave her. Christina had dazzling bright blue eyes and a wonderful smile. When not working she loved to be with family and friends, swimming in her pool or camping.

She is preceded in death by her father, Thomas Shepard II; sister, Linda Kovanda; brothers, Thomas Shepard III and Jerome Shepard. Christina is survived by beloved companion of 13 years, Tony Hardwick and their special dogs, Sammy and Ginger; mother, Julia (Herb) Darfus; brother, Scott (Marcia) Shepard; nieces, Angela (Rick) Althoff and Kim Kovanda; nephews, Christopher (Charlie) Kovanda, Cory (Ainsley) Kovanda, and Nicholas Shepard; several great nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Friday, November 16 from 11 am until time of funeral service at 1 pm at O. R. Woodyard South Chapel 1346 S.
