Obituary of Christine Anderson Christine Harley Anderson 56, of Bemus Point, NY died at 10:22 a.m. Sunday April 8, 2018 in her home surrounded by her family after an 8 year battle with ovarian cancer. She was born August 16, 1961 in Oil City, PA the daughter of the late Howard B. and Virginia Jordan Harley. Christine was a 1979 graduate of Cranberry High School and went on to study childhood education at Clarion State University, graduating with her Bachelors degree, and substitute teaching in the Pennsylvania area.

For 13 years, she was Director of the Fluvanna Free Library and later was a sales associate with Yankee Candle. She enjoyed card making, craft work, gardening, and word search puzzles. In the summer, Christine loved evening bon fires, camping, and riding on the back of the motorcycle with her husband.

Surviving are her husband Daniel G. Anderson whom she married June 4, 1988 in Zion Covenant Church; two children, Nicholas C. Anderson of Rockland, PA; Nicolette L. Anderson of Bemus Point; three sisters, Dorothy Smith, Sharon (Francis) Nesta, and Beth (Shane) Lesniak all of Knox, PA; as well as many nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday April 12, 2018 in the Ellery Baptist Church. The Rev.

Steven Malanowski, pastor, will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday April 11 in the Lind Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Fluvanna Free Library, 3532 Fluvanna Ave.
