Obituary of Diane Anderson Diane S. Eggleston Anderson, 61, of Panama, NY, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family on Sunday, April 29, 2018, in the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA, due to complications from idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. A lifelong area resident, she was born February 15, 1957 in Jamestown, NY, a daughter of Charles E. “Bud” and Ruth “Brownie” Brown Eggleston. Diane worked in the food service industry for most of her life and was an avid baker at home, often creating elaborate cakes for loved one’s birthdays and weddings.

She also enjoyed crafting, embroidery, photography, gardening, and being a Ladybug. Most of all she was a devoted mother, grandmother, wife, sister, daughter, aunt and friend who loved spending time with loved ones. She is survived by her mother, Ruth Eggleston of Panama, NY, her husband of 38 years, Jeffrey J. Anderson whom she married March 1, 1980; four children, Travis (Kerri) Anderson of Findley Lake, NY, Lacie Ann Anderson of Jamestown, NY, Austin (Isabella) Anderson of Ashville, NY, Shaelyn Anderson of Panama; four grandchildren, Micaleb, Brody and Hailey Anderson and Rosalyn Lindquist; two brothers, Dan (Marilyn) Eggleston of Ashville, Ricky Eggleston of Panama; a sister, Betsy (Curt Miceli) Eggleston of Bemus Point, NY, as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Diane was preceded in death by her father, Charles E. Eggleston, who died December 15, 1999. The funeral will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, May 5, 2018, in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev.

Steven Taylor, pastor of the Panama United Methodist Church will officiate. Friends will be received from 6-9 pm Friday, May 4, 2018, and for one hour prior to the service on Saturday in the funeral home.
