Obituary of Marjorie Roy Marjorie Kay Roy, 60, of 210 Schuyler St. Jamestown, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 11, 2018, in UPMC Chautauqua WCA Hospital. She was born June 14, 1957 in Jamestown, NY a daughter of William A. Sweeney and the late Evelyn E. Stufflebeam Sweeney. Marjorie was a graduate of Southwestern Central School and was a 30 year resident of Florida before moving back to Jamestown several years ago.

While living in Florida she was employed at Busch Gardens in Tampa, FL for several years. She attended the Sugar Grove Mission Covenant Church with her family and was a member of the Harmony Senior Citizens. She was also a volunteer for the Salvation Army.

Surviving is her father of Busti, NY, two sisters, Judy (Gary) Fry of Sugar Grove, PA, Becky (Jeff) Wilbur of Yukon, OK, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her mother Evelyn who died January 24, 2013, she was preceded in death by her husband, Scott Roy, a brother, William A. Sweeney, Jr. who died October 17, 2012 and a sister, Kathleen Marie Sweeney who died December 20, 2012 and a sister-in-law Mary Sweeney, as well as her beloved pets Max and Annie. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.

Visitation will not be observed. Inurnment will be in the Grant Cemetery, Niobe, NY. Memorials may be made to Chautauqua County Hospice and Palliative Care, 20 West Fairmount Ave.
