Obituary of Candice Pike Candice R. Pike, 69, of 3 Metcalf Ave. Jamestown, NY, passed away at 10:12 p.m. Sunday, June 24, 2018, in the Select Specialties Hospital, Erie, PA. A lifelong area resident, she was born January 9, 1949 in Jamestown, NY a daughter of the late Carl Arvid David and Ethel Shirley Swan Johnson.

She will be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and sister who loved her pets and was a strong advocate for animal rights. Surviving are her husband, Lawrence “Tom” Pike whom she married March 16, 1968, two sons, Kary P. Pike of Jamestown, NY, Michael L. (Rene) Pike of Las Vegas, NV, a granddaughter, Allyson Pike of Pitts. , PA, a grandson, Nathan Pike of Frewsburg, NY, a great granddaughter, Kalli Flowers of Pitts.

, PA, a sister, Karen (Jim) Carrow of Falconer, NY, a brother, Michael (Sandy) Johnson of Ashville, NY, her cousins, Steve Ahlstedt of TN, Doug Ahlstedt of Pitts. PA, Tina Michalski of Washington State, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her father who died July 12, 1987, her mother who died July 20, 1997, she was preceded in death by her two aunts, Pearl Ahlstedt, Mary Johnson and her cousin, Curtis Johnson, Jr. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.

The Rev. Daniel K. Nagle, pastor of the First Lutheran Church will officiate. Visitation will not be observed.

Burial will be in the Sunset Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Chautauqua County Humane Society, 2825 Strunk Rd. Jamestown, NY 14701.
