Christopher Brian Haukaas, age 38, of Rogersville, passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2019, at Holston Valley Medical Center. He was born in Inglewood, California and grew up in Oceanside, California, and later moved to Tennessee in 2000. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Harold Richard “Dick” Downey; grandmother, Constance Shakeshaft Downey; and beloved mother, Angel Maureen Downey Gulley.

Survivors include his loving father, Eddie Gulley; sisters, Jennifer Tate and husband Shannon, Kimberly Tate and husband Andy, and Brittaney Gulley; brothers, Richard Colmenarez and wife Caitlin, Dwayne Gulley and wife Shanna, and Joseph Gulley; loving aunts, Darlynne Downey and fiance Garrett Mathews, Starr Downey, and Kelleylu Schick and husband Edward; father, Alex Colmenarez; and sister, Julie Colmenarez; nieces and nephews, Christian, Luke, Dalton, and Liam Tate, Haley Griffen, Mya, Noah, and Tyson Tate, and Roman Colmenarez; niece, Abigail Ramirez; foster sister, Kalei Carr. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, at the home of his aunt, Kelleylu Schick, Rogersville, TN. Christian-Sells Funeral Home in Rogersville is serving the family.
