Christopher Lamont Taylor, 45, Dayton, was called home to be with our heavenly father on Oct. 9, 2018, after an unexpected illness. He was born on April 4, 1973 in Sandusky.

He graduated from Sandusky High School in June of 1992, where he sang in the Acapella Choir. Christopher attended Morris College with his course of study in Computer Science. He also trained as a State Tested Nursing Assistant.

He attended many training sessions which gave him various skills in all aspects of nursing. He worked for the Ohio Veterans Home for five years before moving to Dayton, Ohio to work for the Veterans Administrative Medical Center for the last ten years, where he excelled at his job and worked many hours of overtime to support his family. Christopher loved the Lord and was baptized at an early age under the pastoral leadership of the late W. Benson Stephens, Sr., Pastor of Second Baptist Church, Sandusky, Ohio.

He also enjoyed singing in the church choir, reading, traveling, education, sports (his favorite football team was the Cleveland Browns and favorite basketball team was the Cleveland Cavaliers), and was well versed in politics.
