Christopher’s Obituary Christopher Vaughn Farmer, 53, of Rye Road, Nemours, WV, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2019 at his home. Born on February 12, 1966 in Bluefield, he was a son of the late Vaughn Vincent and Ruby Bratsis Farmer. He had been a resident of Nemours for 10 months and was formerly from West Columbia, SC, where he had resided for 34 years.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lexington, SC and also attended Bluewell United Methodist Church. He was a project manager and dispatcher for a L.A. Barrier & Son in West Columbia, SC. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Cheryl Humes.

Survivors include: Sister: Rebecca Burnette and husband Todd of Bluefield, WV Brother in law: Tim Humes and wife Debbie Jackson of Denver, NC Nephew: Nicholas Humes of Denver, NC and fiancé Anna Chapman of Lincolnton, NC Niece: Kendyl Burnette of Bluefield, WV Loyal companion: his beloved dog, Sammie Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Melissa White officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where friends will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may call on Saturday from 12:00-1:00PM at the funeral home.
