Michael’s Obituary Michael Dwayne Clark, 58, of Glenn Street, Bluefield, VA, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at his home. Born on October 10, 1960 in WV, he was a son of the late Tyler and Claudia Lusk Rakes. He had been a resident of Bluefield, VA for 20 years and was employed by Buchanan Mineral Mines as an electrician.

He had also worked for various other mines in the past. He enjoyed boating and hunting and was a caring man who was dearly loved by his family and many others. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Carl Lawson, Jr. Survivors include: Wife: Jennifer Hutchens Clark of the home Stepdaughters: Carla Robinson of Princeton Mary Lawson Addair of Bluefield, VA 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren Sisters: Lynita Rake of VA Karen Ray of Tazewell, VA Kathy Scott of Buchanan, WV Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Dr. Doug Hyndrich officiating.

Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Friends may call on Wednesday from 6-8PM at the funeral home.
